Learning programming: My first Github commit

I've been meaning to setup the code repo for this project for a while to back it up and provide a place where friends can review code and help me out. I finally did it today.

I've always been secretly jealous of programmers and that little matrix graphic on their GitHub pages that shows how active they’ve been with their commits—now I have one of my own!
